Shared Spaces of Maison Huit Arles
Le Petit Salon
Restoring this panelled and painted room back to its 18th century glory was an arduous task. Now, with its gilded mirrors, marble fountain and antique ceiling frieze, this reception room and exhibition space is perhaps one of the most charming in Arles.
The Courtyard
During the hot summer months, the courtyard becomes an alternative dining area. High walls provide shade, and a vine flourishes alongside potted plants. 1940's iron chairs, painted black, provide a chic flourish.
La Cuisine Arlesienne
Whitewashed beams, ancient stone floors and a traditional tiled stove create a warm Provençal atmosphere. Simple rush-seated chairs and a farm-house table are enhanced by a collection of gleaming copper pots and local ceramics.
The house does not accept reservations for October and November 2024. We will be delighted to welcome you again starting in December!
